Legal
Privacy policy.
Plain language about the information you share with SBG and how we use it.
Effective August 1, 2026.
Information we collect
When you request a project plan or a focused starting offer, we collect the business and contact information you submit, along with planning answers, request notes and basic source or campaign attribution. When you apply for a sales opportunity, we collect the professional and contact information, sales background, availability and written answers you submit.
Spam and abuse prevention
To protect public forms from spam and repeated abuse, each submission creates a salted, one-way hash derived from the IP address sent with the request. The form record keeps the hash—not the raw IP address—and SBG uses it only to rate-limit and prevent abuse, not for advertising or behavioral tracking. It stays with the related form record while that record is operationally useful or legally required; we do not keep it as a separate marketing or analytics profile.
How information is used
We use that information to prepare a first-pass recommendation, respond to your request, operate the SBG sales or recruiting pipeline, and improve how the service works. We do not sell personal information.
Anonymous usage counts
We also keep small, daily aggregate counts of meaningful site actions, such as a request-form start or completed plan. Those counts do not use cookies, persistent identifiers, form values, referral URLs or advertising query strings. We respect browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals for this aggregate measurement.
Who can access it
Access is limited to authorized Smith Brothers Group operators and service providers needed to run the website, CRM and notification workflow. We do not give a prospective client’s information to a delivery specialist unless it is necessary for an approved project and covered by the agreed scope.
Retention and security
We retain inquiry and applicant records while they are operationally useful or legally required. We use access controls, server-side secrets and reasonable technical safeguards, but no internet system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete an inquiry or application record. If SBG has already contacted you, reply to that message using the same email address. Otherwise, use the dedicated form below. We will use the supplied email to verify and respond to the request.
